Rick Morioka

Mr. Morioka joined Castlelake in 2021 and is part of its Capital Formation team, focused on executing its strategic partnership and fundraising strategy in the Asia-Pacific region. Prior to joining Castlelake, Mr. Morioka was a member of the Fund Placement team at Campbell Lutyens with a primary focus on the Japanese market. Before Campbell Lutyens, Mr. Morioka was part of the Investor Engagement team at The Abraaj Group. Prior to this, Mr. Morioka was a member of the Fund of Funds team at ARDIAN, where he was responsible for fund investments across Asia as well as fundraising and business development in Japan. Mr. Morioka holds a B.E. and M.E. in electronics, information and communication engineering from Waseda University, and an M.B.A. from INSEAD. Mr. Morioka is fluent in Japanese, as well as conversational in French.
