Rich Gauvin

Mr. Gauvin joined Castlelake in 2011 and leads the Aviation Asset Management team comprised of more than 10 professionals who are responsible for the technical management of the firm’s fleet of aircraft and spare engines. Prior to joining Castlelake, Mr. Gauvin served as the director of sales and marketing and later the vice president of technical services at GA Telesis, an aircraft and engine leasing and disassembly firm, where he was primarily responsible for leading the technical department. Prior to joining GA Telesis, Mr. Gauvin was the director of sales and marketing for the aircraft cargo conversions unit of Alcoa, an aluminum production and management company. Mr. Gauvin has also worked as an engineering manager and later regional sales director for Telair International, where he largely focused on design, support and sales of commercial aircraft system sales to airlines. Mr. Gauvin received his M.B.A. from the University of La Verne and completed his undergraduate studies at University of California (UCLA).
