Alexander Curcio

Mr. Curcio joined Castlelake in 2018 and is Partner and leader of its European Specialty Finance team. He is primarily focused on executing the firm’s investment strategy in consumer and commercial credit, including small- and medium-sized enterprise finance as well as residential mortgage finance across Europe. Mr. Curcio became a partner of the firm in 2024. Prior to joining Castlelake, Mr. Curcio was with Goldman Sachs on the European Mortgages trading desk, where he focused on the origination and trading of whole loan pools and lending to the European specialty finance sector. Prior to Goldman Sachs, Mr. Curcio worked at Deutsche Bank as a structurer in the Principal Finance group. Mr. Curcio received an M.Sc. in finance and economics from the London School of Economics and a B.Sc. in economics from the University of Warwick. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst and is native in Italian.
